详细描述

firefox: Mozilla Firefox is an open-source web browser, designed for standards compliance, performance and portability.
wireshark: Wireshark is a network traffic analyzer for Unix-ish operating systems. This package lays base for libpcap, a packet capture and filtering library, contains command-line utilities, contains plugins and documentation for wireshark. A graphical user interface is packaged separately to GTK+ package.

Security Fix(es):
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: When removing data about an origin whose tab was recently closed, a use-after-free could occur in the Quota manager, resulting in a potentially exploitable crash.(CVE-2020-6805)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: By carefully crafting promise resolutions, it was possible to cause an out-of-bounds read off the end of an array resized during script execution. This could have led to memory corruption and a potentially exploitable crash.(CVE-2020-6806)
firefox: When pasting a <style> tag from the clipboard into a rich text editor, the CSS sanitizer does not escape < and > characters. Because the resulting string is pasted directly into the text node of the element this does not result in a direct injection into the webpage; however, if a webpage subsequently copies the node's innerHTML, assigning it to another innerHTML, this would result in an XSS vulnerability. Two WYSIWYG editors were identified with this behavior, more may exist. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.4 and Firefox < 72.(CVE-2019-17022)
firefox: When pasting a <style> tag from the clipboard into a rich text editor, the CSS sanitizer incorrectly rewrites a @namespace rule. This could allow for injection into certain types of websites resulting in data exfiltration. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.4 and Firefox < 72.(CVE-2019-17016)
firefox: Due to a missing case handling object types, a type confusion vulnerability could occur, resulting in a crash. We presume that with enough effort that it could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.4 and Firefox < 72.(CVE-2019-17017)
firefox: Mozilla developers reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 71 and Firefox ESR 68.3. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.4 and Firefox < 72.(CVE-2019-17024)
firefox: Incorrect alias information in IonMonkey JIT compiler for setting array elements could lead to a type confusion. We are aware of targeted attacks in the wild abusing this flaw. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.4.1, Thunderbird < 68.4.1, and Firefox < 72.0.1.(CVE-2019-17026)
firefox: A content process could have modified shared memory relating to crash reporting information, crash itself, and cause an out-of-bound write. This could have caused memory corruption and a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 73 and Firefox < ESR68.5.(CVE-2020-6796)
firefox: If a template tag was used in a select tag, the parser could be confused and allow JavaScript parsing and execution when it should not be allowed. A site that relied on the browser behaving correctly could suffer a cross-site scripting vulnerability as a result. In general, this flaw cannot be exploited through email in the Thunderbird product because scripting is disabled when reading mail, but is potentially a risk in browser or browser-like contexts. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.5, Firefox < 73, and Firefox < ESR68.5.(CVE-2020-6798)
firefox: Mozilla developers and community members reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 72 and Firefox ESR 68.4. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. In general, these flaws cannot be exploited through email in the Thunderbird product because scripting is disabled when reading mail, but are potentially risks in browser or browser-like contexts. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.5, Firefox < 73, and Firefox < ESR68.5.(CVE-2020-6800)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: The 'Copy as cURL' feature of Devtools' network tab did not properly escape the HTTP method of a request, which can be controlled by the website. If a user used the 'Copy as Curl' feature and pasted the command into a terminal, it could have resulted in command injection and arbitrary command execution.(CVE-2020-6811)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: The inputs to `sctp_load_addresses_from_init` are verified by `sctp_arethere_unrecognized_parameters`; however, the two functions handled parameter bounds differently, resulting in out of bounds reads when parameters are partially outside a chunk.(CVE-2019-20503)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: The first time AirPods are connected to an iPhone, they become named after the user's name by default (e.g. Jane Doe's AirPods.) Websites with camera or microphone permission are able to enumerate device names, disclosing the user's name. To resolve this issue, Firefox added a special case that renames devices containing the substring 'AirPods' to simply 'AirPods'.(CVE-2020-6812)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: When a device was changed while a stream was about to be destroyed, the `stream-reinit` task may have been executed after the stream was destroyed, causing a use-after-free and a potentially exploitable crash.(CVE-2020-6807)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: Mozilla developers and community members reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 73 and Firefox ESR 68.5. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code.(CVE-2020-6814)
firefox: A flaw was found in Mozilla Firefox. A race condition can occur while running the nsDocShell destructor causing a use-after-free memory issue. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.(CVE-2020-6819)
firefox: A flaw was found in Mozilla's Firefox. A race condition can occur when handling a ReadableStream causing a use-after-free memory issue. The highest threat from this vulnerability are to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.(CVE-2020-6820)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: When reading from areas partially or fully outside the source resource with WebGL's copyTexSubImage method, the specification requires the returned values be zero. Previously, this memory was uninitialized, leading to potentially sensitive data disclosure.(CVE-2020-6821)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: On 32-bit builds, an out of bounds write could have occurred when processing an image larger than 4 GB in GMPDecodeData. It is possible that with enough effort this could have been exploited to run arbitrary code.(CVE-2020-6822)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: Mozilla developers reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 74 and Firefox ESR 68.6. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code.(CVE-2020-6825)
firefox: A flaw was found in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. When running shutdown code for Web Worker, a race condition occurs leading to a use-after-free memory flaw that could lead to an exploitable crash. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.(CVE-2020-12387)
firefox: A flaw was found in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. When parsing and validating SCTP chunks in WebRTC a memory buffer overflow could occur leading to memory corruption and an exploitable crash. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.(CVE-2020-6831)
firefox: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: The 'Copy as cURL' feature of Devtools' network tab did not properly escape the HTTP POST data of a request, which can be controlled by the website. If a user used the 'Copy as cURL' feature and pasted the command into a terminal, it could have resulted in the disclosure of local files.(CVE-2020-12392)
firefox: Memory safety flaws were found in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. Memory corruption that an attacker could leverage with enough effort, could allow arbitrary code to run. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.(CVE-2020-12395)
firefox: bugfix
wireshark: A heap-based buffer overflow was found in the wireshark module responsible for analyzing the LDSS protocol. An attacker could create a malicious LDSS message to cause a remote denial of service, crashing the application.(CVE-2018-11362)
wireshark: A denial of service flaw was found in the SIGCOMP dissector in Wireshark. A remote network attacker could potentially use this flaw to crash Wireshark by tricking it into processing a crafted packet.(CVE-2018-7418)
wireshark: A vulnerability in MMSE dissector allows Wireshark to loop infinitely when parsing a specially crafted pcap file. Remote attacker could cause a denial of service to Wireshark by injecting malicious packets into the network that are automatically processed.(CVE-2018-19622)
wireshark: In Wireshark 2.6.0 to 2.6.2, 2.4.0 to 2.4.8, and 2.2.0 to 2.2.16, the Radiotap dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-ieee80211-radiotap-iter.c by validating iterator operations.(CVE-2018-16057)
wireshark: In Wireshark 2.6.0 to 2.6.1, 2.4.0 to 2.4.7, and 2.2.0 to 2.2.15, dissectors that support zlib decompression could crash. This was addressed in epan/tvbuff_zlib.c by rejecting negative lengths to avoid a buffer over-read.(CVE-2018-14340)
wireshark: In Wireshark 2.6.0 to 2.6.1, 2.4.0 to 2.4.7, and 2.2.0 to 2.2.15, the DICOM dissector could go into a large or infinite loop. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-dcm.c by preventing an offset overflow.(CVE-2018-14341)
wireshark: In Wireshark 2.6.0 to 2.6.1, 2.4.0 to 2.4.7, and 2.2.0 to 2.2.15, the Bazaar protocol dissector could go into an infinite loop. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-bzr.c by properly handling items that are too long.(CVE-2018-14368)
