详细描述

thunderbird: Mozilla Thunderbird is a standalone mail and newsgroup client.
freerdp: This package provides debug information for package freerdp. Debug information is useful when developing applications that use this package or when debugging this package.

Security Fix(es):
thunderbird: In certain circumstances, the MCallGetProperty opcode can be emitted with unmet assumptions resulting in an exploitable use-after-free condition. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 82.0.3, Firefox ESR < 78.4.1, and Thunderbird < 78.4.2.(CVE-2020-26950)
thunderbird: By holding a reference to the eval() function from an about:blank window, a malicious webpage could have gained access to the InstallTrigger object which would allow them to prompt the user to install an extension. Combined with user confusion, this could result in an unintended or malicious extension being installed. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 80, Thunderbird < 78.2, Thunderbird < 68.12, Firefox ESR < 68.12, Firefox ESR < 78.2, and Firefox for Android < 80.(CVE-2020-15664)
thunderbird: When aborting an operation, such as a fetch, an abort signal may be deleted while alerting the objects to be notified. This results in a use-after-free and we presume that with enough effort it could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.12 and Thunderbird < 68.12.(CVE-2020-15669)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: By exploiting an Open Redirect vulnerability on a website, an attacker could have spoofed the site displayed in the download file dialog to show the original site (the one suffering from the open redirect) rather than the site the file was actually downloaded from.(CVE-2020-15677)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: Firefox sometimes ran the onload handler for SVG elements that the DOM sanitizer decided to remove, resulting in JavaScript being executed after pasting attacker-controlled data into a contenteditable element.(CVE-2020-15676)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: When recursing through graphical layers while scrolling, an iterator may have become invalid, resulting in a potential use-after-free. This occurs because the function `APZCTreeManager::ComputeClippedCompositionBounds` did not follow iterator invalidation rules.(CVE-2020-15678)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: Mozilla developer reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 80 and Firefox ESR 78.2. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code.(CVE-2020-15673)
thunderbird: Mozilla developers and community members reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 81 and Firefox ESR 78.3. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 78.4, Firefox < 82, and Thunderbird < 78.4.(CVE-2020-15683)
thunderbird: Use after free in WebRTC in Google Chrome prior to 86.0.4240.75 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.(CVE-2020-15969)
thunderbird: A parsing and event loading mismatch in Firefox's SVG code could have allowed load events to fire, even after sanitization. An attacker already capable of exploiting an XSS vulnerability in privileged internal pages could have used this attack to bypass our built-in sanitizer. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 83, Firefox ESR < 78.5, and Thunderbird < 78.5.(CVE-2020-26951)
thunderbird: Side-channel information leakage in graphics in Google Chrome prior to 87.0.4280.66 allowed a remote attacker to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page.(CVE-2020-16012)
thunderbird: It was possible to cause the browser to enter fullscreen mode without displaying the security UI; thus making it possible to attempt a phishing attack or otherwise confuse the user. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 83, Firefox ESR < 78.5, and Thunderbird < 78.5.(CVE-2020-26953)
thunderbird: In some cases, removing HTML elements during sanitization would keep existing SVG event handlers and therefore lead to XSS. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 83, Firefox ESR < 78.5, and Thunderbird < 78.5.(CVE-2020-26956)
thunderbird: Firefox did not block execution of scripts with incorrect MIME types when the response was intercepted and cached through a ServiceWorker. This could lead to a cross-site script inclusion vulnerability, or a Content Security Policy bypass. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 83, Firefox ESR < 78.5, and Thunderbird < 78.5.(CVE-2020-26958)
thunderbird: During browser shutdown, reference decrementing could have occured on a previously freed object, resulting in a use-after-free, memory corruption, and a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 83, Firefox ESR < 78.5, and Thunderbird < 78.5.(CVE-2020-26959)
thunderbird: If the Compact() method was called on an nsTArray, the array could have been reallocated without updating other pointers, leading to a potential use-after-free and exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 83, Firefox ESR < 78.5, and Thunderbird < 78.5.(CVE-2020-26960)
thunderbird: When DNS over HTTPS is in use, it intentionally filters RFC1918 and related IP ranges from the responses as these do not make sense coming from a DoH resolver. However when an IPv4 address was mapped through IPv6, these addresses were erroneously let through, leading to a potential DNS Rebinding attack. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 83, Firefox ESR < 78.5, and Thunderbird < 78.5.(CVE-2020-26961)
thunderbird: Mozilla developers reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 82 and Firefox ESR 78.4. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 83, Firefox ESR < 78.5, and Thunderbird < 78.5.(CVE-2020-26968)
thunderbird: Some websites have a feature "Show Password" where clicking a button will change a password field into a textbook field, revealing the typed password. If, when using a software keyboard that remembers user input, a user typed their password and used that feature, the type of the password field was changed, resulting in a keyboard layout change and the possibility for the software keyboard to remember the typed password. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 83, Firefox ESR < 78.5, and Thunderbird < 78.5.(CVE-2020-26965)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: Certain blit values provided by the user were not properly constrained leading to a heap buffer overflow on some video drivers.(CVE-2020-26971)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: Certain input to the CSS Sanitizer confused it, resulting in incorrect components being removed. This could have been used as a sanitizer bypass.(CVE-2020-26973)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: When `flex-basis` was used on a table wrapper, a `StyleGenericFlexBasis` object could have been incorrectly cast to the wrong type. This resulted in a heap user-after-free, memory corruption, and a potentially exploitable crash.(CVE-2020-26974)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: Using techniques that built on the slipstream research, a malicious webpage could have exposed both an internal network's hosts as well as services running on the user's local machine.(CVE-2020-26978)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: When a BigInt was right-shifted the backing store was not properly cleared, allowing uninitialized memory to be read.(CVE-2020-16042)
thunderbird: When reading SMTP server status codes, Thunderbird writes an integer value to a position on the stack that is intended to contain just one byte. Depending on processor architecture and stack layout, this leads to stack corruption that may be exploitable. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 78.5.1.(CVE-2020-26970)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: When an extension with the proxy permission registered to receive ``, the proxy.onRequest callback was not triggered for view-source URLs. While web content cannot navigate to such URLs, a user opening View Source could have inadvertently leaked their IP address.(CVE-2020-35111)
thunderbird: The Mozilla Foundation Security Advisory describes this flaw as: Mozilla developer reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 83 and Firefox ESR 78.5. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code.(CVE-2020-35113)
thunderbird: bugfix
freerdp: In FreeRDP greater than 1.2 and before 2.0.0, a double free in update_read_cache_bitmap_v3_order crashes the client application if corrupted data from a manipulated server is parsed. This has been patched in 2.0.0.(CVE-2020-11044)
freerdp: libfreerdp/core/update.c in FreeRDP versions > 1.1 through 2.0.0-rc4 has an Out-of-bounds Read.(CVE-2020-11526)
freerdp: In FreeRDP greater than 1.1 and before 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bounds read in update_read_icon_info. It allows reading a attacker-defined amount of client memory (32bit unsigned -> 4GB) to an intermediate buffer. This can be used to crash the client or store information for later retrieval. This has been patched in 2.0.0.(CVE-2020-11042)
freerdp: In FreeRDP after 1.0 and before 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bound read in in update_read_bitmap_data that allows client memory to be read to an image buffer. The result displayed on screen as colour.(CVE-2020-11045)
freerdp: In FreeRDP after 1.0 and before 2.0.0, there is a stream out-of-bounds seek in update_read_synchronize that could lead to a later out-of-bounds read.(CVE-2020-11046)
freerdp: In FreeRDP after 1.1 and before 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bounds read in autodetect_recv_bandwidth_measure_results. A malicious server can extract up to 8 bytes of client memory with a manipulated message by providing a short input and reading the measurement result data. This has been patched in 2.0.0.(CVE-2020-11047)
freerdp: In FreeRDP after 1.0 and before 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bounds read. It only allows to abort a session. No data extraction is possible. This has been fixed in 2.0.0.(CVE-2020-11048)
freerdp: In FreeRDP after 1.1 and before 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bound read of client memory that is then passed on to the protocol parser. This has been patched in 2.0.0.(CVE-2020-11049)
freerdp: In FreeRDP after 1.1 and before 2.0.0, a stream out-of-bounds seek in rdp_read_font_capability_set could lead to a later out-of-bounds read. As a result, a manipulated client or server might force a disconnect due to an invalid data read. This has been fixed in 2.0.0.(CVE-2020-11058)
freerdp: An issue was discovered in FreeRDP before 2.1.1. An out-of-bounds (OOB) read vulnerability has been detected in ntlm_read_ChallengeMessage in winpr/libwinpr/sspi/NTLM/ntlm_message.c.(CVE-2020-13396)
freerdp: An issue was discovered in FreeRDP before 2.1.1. An out-of-bounds (OOB) read vulnerability has been detected in security_fips_decrypt in libfreerdp/core/security.c due to an uninitialized value.(CVE-2020-13397)
freerdp: In FreeRDP before 2.1.0, there is an out-of-bounds read in cliprdr_read_format_list. Clipboard format data read (by client or server) might read data out-of-bounds. This has been fixed in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11085)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bound read in ntlm_read_ntlm_v2_client_challenge that reads up to 28 bytes out-of-bound to an internal structure. This has been fixed in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11086)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bound read in ntlm_read_AuthenticateMessage. This has been fixed in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11087)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bound read in ntlm_read_NegotiateMessage. This has been fixed in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11088)
freerdp: In FreeRDP before 2.1.0, there is an out-of-bound read in irp functions (parallel_process_irp_create, serial_process_irp_create, drive_process_irp_write, printer_process_irp_write, rdpei_recv_pdu, serial_process_irp_write). This has been fixed in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11089)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, a possible resource exhaustion vulnerability can be performed. Malicious clients could trigger out of bound reads causing memory allocation with random size. This has been fixed in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11018)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, when running with logger set to "WLOG_TRACE", a possible crash of application could occur due to a read of an invalid array index. Data could be printed as string to local terminal. This has been fixed in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11019)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, an Integer Overflow to Buffer Overflow exists. When using /video redirection, a manipulated server can instruct the client to allocate a buffer with a smaller size than requested due to an integer overflow in size calculation. With later messages, the server can manipulate the client to write data out of bound to the previously allocated buffer. This has been patched in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11038)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, when using a manipulated server with USB redirection enabled (nearly) arbitrary memory can be read and written due to integer overflows in length checks. This has been patched in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11039)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bound data read from memory in clear_decompress_subcode_rlex, visualized on screen as color. This has been patched in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11040)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, an outside controlled array index is used unchecked for data used as configuration for sound backend (alsa, oss, pulse, ...). The most likely outcome is a crash of the client instance followed by no or distorted sound or a session disconnect. If a user cannot upgrade to the patched version, a workaround is to disable sound for the session. This has been patched in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11041)
freerdp: In FreeRDP less than or equal to 2.0.0, there is an out-of-bounds read in rfx_process_message_tileset. Invalid data fed to RFX decoder results in garbage on screen (as colors). This has been patched in 2.1.0.(CVE-2020-11043)
freerdp: libfreerdp/gdi/gdi.c in FreeRDP > 1.0 through 2.0.0-rc4 has an Out-of-bounds Read.(CVE-2020-11522)
freerdp: libfreerdp/cache/bitmap.c in FreeRDP versions > 1.0 through 2.0.0-rc4 has an Out of bounds read.(CVE-2020-11525)
